After the Mountain Broke
A mountain becomes overlapping decisions: edge, color, distance, and the point where a recognizable landscape turns into structure.

I use photography, generated material, digital editing, abstraction, and whatever other tool helps me reconstruct the image I can already see. The decisions are the part I do not want the final file to hide.
A camera can record what was in front of me. That does not mean it recorded the thing I was trying to make.
Sometimes the photograph is the finished work. Sometimes it is raw material.
Sometimes the starting point is a generated image, a sketch, a texture, or a stubborn picture that has been sitting in my head for years.
Selected work
A mountain becomes overlapping decisions: edge, color, distance, and the point where a recognizable landscape turns into structure.
A coastal image reduced to pressure, scraped color, and one pale interruption moving through a field of blue.
A deer appears through a field of marks that feels part forest, part memory, and part unfinished wall.
A winter forest holds its shape while the sky becomes an event large enough to change the meaning of the scene.
Layered earth-colored bands move like terrain that has forgotten it is supposed to be still.
The animal is almost a void until water, leaves, and direct eye contact pull the form forward.
Collections
Animals held between recognition and atmosphere, where the subject is clear but the surrounding world is allowed to become uncertain.
Reduced forms, soft edges, and layered movement that ask how little an image needs before it begins to hold space.
Landscapes rebuilt from memory, generated source material, and the shapes that remain after a literal scene stops being enough.
Every work receives a stable identifier and a durable record. A record may begin with a title, image, medium, and a few honest notes. It can later hold source photography, intermediate states, voice notes, screen recordings, editions, exhibitions, and ownership history without changing its identity.

Read the provenance standardA Master Edition is meant to carry more than an image. When offered, it can pair an archival print with an edition record, certificate, Creation Notes, production metadata, and selected process material.
